Choosing a visual preset

Ever After includes multiple visual presets that change the overall look and feel of the site — including color palette, typography pairing, and layout emphasis. Presets are designed to give the site a cohesive look without manual styling.

To select a preset, look for the preset selector in the theme settings area. Choose the one that best matches the visual direction for your wedding site, then save your changes.

Customizing colors and fonts

Beyond presets, the theme provides admin-side controls for fine-tuning fonts, colors, and typography settings. These controls let you adjust the site's appearance without editing code.

Access these settings through the WordPress Customizer or the theme settings panel, depending on the specific control. Changes preview in real time before you publish.

Setting up the homepage

The homepage is where guests get their first impression. Ever After provides wedding-specific blocks and sections — including hero areas, event schedules, photo galleries, and storytelling sections — that can be arranged using the WordPress block editor.

To edit the homepage, go to Pages and open your front page. Use the block editor to add, remove, or rearrange the available wedding sections.

Configuring RSVP

Ever After includes a built-in RSVP flow that lets guests confirm their attendance directly on the site. The RSVP section collects guest responses and displays them in a dashboard view within the WordPress admin.

To configure RSVP, locate the RSVP settings in the theme's admin panel. You can customize the form fields, confirmation messages, and manage guest responses from the dashboard.

Setting up the gift registry

The gift registry feature lets couples present gift options in an organized, browsable layout with reserve-a-gift support. Guests can browse available gifts and indicate what they plan to bring.

Add registry items through the theme's admin interface. Each item can include a title, image, description, and external link if the gift is available through an online store.
